I’m Ross, a specialized director bridging the gap between pedagogy and production. With a background in international ELT and five years of experience in educational filmmaking, I translate complex learning goals into engaging screen content. My approach is 'actor-first'—balancing creative freedom with the specific technical demands of ELT, such as precise pacing, expressive gestures, and high-energy delivery. Having worked professionally as both an editor and camera operator, I speak the language of the crew, ensuring a seamless transition from script to final cut.

I have 15 years professional experience using Adobe Creative suite (Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder and Photoshop). Plus, Logic Pro X and Digital Performer for in-depth audio editing and producing. I’ve filmed with various cameras in various formats. E.g. Sony A7, FS7, FS5, PXW/PMW models, Canon C300s & C70. I’m also proficient with using audio equipment for filming and recording (lapel/boom/dynamic mics, digital and analogue sound desks). Not to mention, I have experience with lighting and setting up studios for filming TV shoots and interviews across Europe.
